Tamtron is a leading supplier of advanced weighing solutions, offering innovative weighing and dosing technologies, comprehensive lifecycle services, and modern cloud-based digital services. Supporting industries such as earthmoving and construction, mining and metal processing, battery and chemical industries, food production, forestry, logistics, ports and terminals, as well as recycling and energy, Tamtron operates globally with its headquarters in Finland. The company has a strong presence across Europe through its subsidiaries and worldwide partner network.
About us
Supporting our customers’ businesses and working as an active partner with them has been our cornerstone since the beginning. Our quality is proven by ISO 9001:2015 quality certificate. Some of our scales are even legal-for-trade type approved, and our solutions for weighing data management can be utilised to support all company’s primary process.
Tamtron has a turnover of EUR 55.7 million, and the group employs 310 professionals. The company has two officies is in Finland, one Tampere and one in Lahti, and subsidiaries in Sweden, Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Norway and Denmark. In addition to strong domestic trade, Tamtron exports its products globally to more than 50 countries via certified partner network. We are a reliable partner for demanding weighing solutions with 50 years of experience.
Tamtron has always been driven by the idea of delivering real customer value – saving time and effort and making the customer’s everyday life easier. Even Tamtron’s first scales followed the same philosophy as today: when you move around, you weigh and record the weight.

Finland
Tamtron Finland is headquartered in Tampere and another office is in Lahti. All in all, there are approximately 50 people working in Tampere with Group Management as well as On-Board weighing operations. Industrial Weighing and Digital Services Business Units are located in Lahti. Besides our two own offices, we have a nationwide partner network in nine other locations, servicing our customers swiftly.
Sweden
Tamtron Sweden has its headquarter in Karlstad where management, warehouse and back-office functions are located. Our sales staff and service technicians are located close to our customers in several locations, all the way from North to South. All in all 16 people are employed in Tamtron Sweden. Besides our employees we also have a number of certified service partners in different parts of Sweden to further strengthen our proximity to our customers.
Norway
Tamtron Norway (fromer Scaleit AS) is headquartered in Oslo/Skedsmokorset and have branch offices in Tromsø, Ålesund and Stavanger. In total, we are 27 people in the organisation. We have technicians placed in the major cities, serving our customers all over the nation.
Poland
Tamtron Poland is seated in Katowice, in the Silesia region and has a sales office in Szczecin in the north of Poland. We employ 39 people, mainly in the service and sales departments. For the service purposes we also use our own employees in other cities, e.g. Warsaw. We also have a network of partner companies dedicated to construction and service works.
Germany
Tamtron Germany is located in Beimerstetten on the Swabian Alb near Ulm on the Danube. A total of 10 people work in Tamtron Germany. In addition, there is a service and sales partner near Hamburg who looks after the North German market.
Czech
Tamtron s.r.o has been operating on the Czech market for 25 years with its headquarters in Kralupy nad Vltavou. Currently, 25 employees work for our company in the Czech Republic. The team consists of management, administration, experience sales representatives, innovative R&D department, and strong group of service technicians.
Slovakia
Tamtron Slovakia is headquartered in Trnava and has operations in Malženice. A total of 5 people work for us. Our sales and marketing are located in offices in Malženice. The service center is in the workshop premises in Malženice. We belong to the international Tamtron network, which is worldwide.
Denmark
Tamtron Denmark (former: Jydsk Vaegtfabrik A/S) has delivered weighing solutions since 1981. Our Danish office is located in Aarhus and from there we serve Danish industry with vast selection of weighing solutions as well as services such as installation, calibration, maintenance and technical support.
